Outfits Main article: Leroy Smith/Outfits Leroy appears to be blind in his right eye, though he is mostly seen with his eyes obscured by a pair of black sunglasses. He has a mustache and beard, a dragon tattoo on his right arm, and tattoos of rings on his thumbs. Leroy is muscular and fit despite his advancing years. Leroy has white dreadlocks, some of which are adorned with gold jewelry. He can also be quietly mocking of such opponents, though always conducts himself with discipline and self-control. Leroy seems to have a sense of humour, chuckling to himself at opponents he doesn't see as worthwhile. Leroy has a more gentle and caring side to him, as seen in his manner towards his dog, Sugar, who at times acts as his partner in battle. His vendetta against Heihachi, as Zaibatsu leader then and now, is a personal one. His desire to liberate his home city was also one born of anger at his family's death and the brutality of the violence and pain he was personally subject to. As well as justice however, Leroy is also motivated by revenge. Leroy is motivated by justice, and his heart was set first on liberating the populace of New York from gang violence, and then on taking down the Mishima Zaibatsu when he learned that they are orchestrators of war both in the past and present. The hanzi on his back 戒 ( temperance) refers to his choice to he keep himself in check. Leroy is a disciplined and seasoned martial artist, who has dedicated himself to perfecting Wing Chun for decades. With this purpose in mind, Leroy joined the King of Iron Fist Tournament that Heihachi called. On discovering that the same corporation that had plunged the world into its current violence was also responsible for the destruction in his home city, Leroy set his heart on confronting Heihachi Mishima, the man he held responsible. In the process, Leroy learned from one of the gang leaders that the violence fifty years ago was initiated by the Mishima Zaibatsu working from behind the scenes. He struck hard and single-handedly destroyed the gang influence over the city. He set out for revenge and to liberate the city. He worked as a trader, travelling all over the world, until one day he witnessed Wing Chun in Hong Kong, and decided to stay and learn the martial art.Ībout half a century later, Leroy heard that New York was still in the grasp of the gangs responsible for his family's death, though their power was now greatly diminished. Fortunately, Leroy was picked up by a passing trade ship, who took him in. During the violence, an injured Leroy fell into a river and was swept out to sea. This was likely the moment when Leroy sustained a lasting injury in his right eye, which appears to be blind, and may also be why he now uses a cane. Leroy's family were killed in the crossfire and Leroy himself was badly injured. An all out gang war in which even police and politicians were on gang payrolls escalated and turned the streets into a warzone. Tekken 8 is likely to be a blockbuster success once it releases, though still, no info has been relayed about its launch window.Leroy grew up in New York until, as a young boy, his lost his entire family to gang violence. The franchise's last mainline entry was Tekken 7, which, even though it released in 2015, is still played consistently and is always present in the lineup of the year's biggest fighting game tournament, the Evolution Championship Series, also known as EVO. Tekken is one of the most iconic and celebrated fighting game series of all time. Jin presumed her dead since then, but it's now clear that Jun lives, and she's to help Jin in some way to defeat his father Kazuya. Jin tried to help but was knocked out, and woke to find his home destroyed and his mother gone. When Jin was fifteen, Tekken antagonist Ogre attacked Jun in order to absorb her abilities. Jun later exiled to the mountains, where she gave birth to Jin Kazama and raised him in the Kazama style of martial arts she grew up with. Though Jun was able to make Kazuya doubt his reliance on the Devil's power, Kazuya still tried to fight Heihachi, who went on to defeat him and throw him into a volcano. At some point during this tournament, Jun became pregnant with Kazuya's child, who would eventually become Jin. Jun Kazama was a wildlife conservation activist who entered the second King of Iron Fist Tournament in an attempt to meet Kazuya Mishima, stop his illegal smuggling of protected animals and free him from whatever evil power had taken hold of him. ![]()
